Nails D'art & Spa

About

We wanted somewhere that felt like a front room rather than a clinic.

The shop sits behind a cream awning on Huỳnh Thúc Kháng, with two iron chairs on the pavement and pots of chrysanthemums up the steps. Inside the walls are rough white stucco, the floors are warm wood, and the chairs are upholstered in roses. A white iron staircase spirals up to the treatment room.

Our name is spelled out in wooden letters on the wall, with a burgundy bow at each end. Underneath it hangs a portrait of a cat in a lace ruff, which nobody has ever asked us to explain.

We are so gentle you doubt there was actually drilling. We can work from your reference picture and match it closely. We use CND, OPI and IBD, and Moding gel from Japan. English is spoken at the front desk. Most people come for an hour and stay for two.

The wall of colour

Rows of polish bottles racked inside an ornate white frame on the stucco wall.

Every colour in the shop, in one frame. If you cannot decide, stand in front of it for a while.
